Amongst local gravel enthusiasts, California Road stands alone as the Ottawa Valley’s premier stretch of unmaintained.

This route is designed to link together as much Lanark Highlands unmaintained as possible into a single loop

Featuring a fantastic mix of farmland gravel, rolling treelined dirt, and saucy unmaintained, this route was arguably my favourite of 2022.

Developed by Ed Daugavietis, this route tours the township of Mono and features a mix of gravel, abandoned roads, and singletrack.
